I met Craig recently and was moved by his story and the way he’s been able to turn his life around.
Craig (age 43) joined the Army when he was 16 years old. Serving for 23 years, he completed tours of Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. He now lives in Essex.
Craig was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in November 2015 by Combat Stress. Prior to this he had turned to alcohol and found home life difficult. He was aggressive and had night terrors. He became homeless as a result of his mental health problems. For him, pottery making has helped turn his life around.
