This is such a great idea and yet so simple!
Emmanuel have been involved with the Purple Community Fund for a few years helping to support the most marginalised members of the community in the UK and Asia through training, education and social enterprise programmes and we’ve been collecting Ring Pulls from cans to send to them. I also visited the Philippines as part of my sabbatical in the summer of 2019. You can read all about it here
Everyone uses cans and throws them away. But did you know each ring pull is worth 3p and are transformed into stunning handbags, clothing and accessories? They a website advertising their goods here
Can I encourage you to start collecting your Ring Pulls, rather than throw them away and, when you have a good number, either drop them in to Emmanuel Church on Laindon Road on send them direct?
