A few years ago I help establish the first Billericay Community Garden on my allotment to the rear of Billericay Rectory on Laindon Road and next to Emmanuel’s overflow car park (where you can gain access).

We have an enthusiastic steering group and many willing volunteers. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and to make new friends at the same time. We have regular ‘digging days’ and other events. Watch this great video put together by Vertex Pictures.

Our monthly ‘digging days’ for 2019 are as follows (we usually start at 10.00 am and finish around 1.00 pm – don’t forget wear your wellies and bring some tools with you):
