HOLY WEEK is one of the most poignant weeks in the Christian calendar. It will soon be upon us and is well worth making a note in your diary.
It begins and ends in Celebration. Many Christians attend on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday but miss out on the sorrow and sadness of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday – often by choice.
May I extend an invitation to join to with us in the Anglican Church of Paphos either at Ayia Kyriaki, Saint Luke’s or Saint Stephen’s as we journey through Holy Week: from the: Praise of Palm Sunday; Poignancy of Maundy Thursday; Sorrow of Good Friday and the Joy of Celebration on Easter Sunday.
PASSION PLAY The Catholic Parish of Saint Paul are presenting ‘Walk The Way Of The Cross’ in the grounds of Ayia Kyriaki on Palm Sunday at 4.00 pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.
