The resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the cornerstone of Christianity. It explains the existence of the church; it establishes why we are here and explains why today, we will celebrate with 2.2 billion people around the world.
Alleluia! Christ is Risen. He is risen, indeed. Alleluia!
Churches continue to be closed until further notice, but we’re continuing the experiment of a Livestream service from the Billericay Rectory on Easter Sunday, 12 April 2020 at 10.30 am.
If you are interested, or intrigued, you can watch our livestream service here (Facebook glitches aside!) https://www.facebook.com/EmmanuelChurchBillericay
If you don’t have a Facebook account, don’t worry, you will still be able to watch along, just click the ‘not now’ option when you are prompted to sign up.
You can also download a service sheet below so you can follow what’s being said and sing-a-long!

Livestream Worship Easter Day 2020 – Visually Impaired
Lot’s of churches seem to be having issues with Facebook on Sunday morning’s – must be the amount of livestreaming going on. I can just imagine the headline:
Christian’s crash Facebook!
Well done to those of you who persevered or watched sometime later.
I will post a copy of my sermon to my website shortly afterwards https://revpacman.wordpress.com
If you live locally, don’t forget to pick up your Palm Cross from the Rectory step, along with a short leaflet explaining their significance.
