I’m delighted to welcome the marvellous, madcap and crazily inventive Pantaloons Theatre Company back to Billericay to perform their own twist on the Jane Austen classic ‘Pride & Prejudice’ in the Rectory Garden on Sunday 1 August 2021.

We have enjoyed their several of their productions over the years and many of you appreciate their joyous and witty productions. I’m particularly pleased that we’ve been able to arrange for them to perform in Billericay, after having to cancel last year’s performance of Twelfth Night.  We will be running on reduced numbers, so book your tickets soon – it’s sure to be a sell out.

Adults £ 14.00 / Under 16’s £8.50 & Fees / Door £16/10 (if not sold out and are available).
You can book your tickets here

Doors open at 4.00 pm, performance starts at 5.00 pm

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Jane Austen’s witty and romantic masterpiece is one of the best-loved stories of all time, dealing with the most important questions in life …

Will Mrs Bennet manage to offload her numerous daughters in record time? Will Lizzy and Darcy actually get together? Will creepy Mr Collins just go away please? The literary classic gets the full Pantaloons treatment in this beautifully hilarious and delightfully innovative new adaptation.

“Glorious … a cleverly adapted, joyous comic makeover of the treasured story.” * * * *
(The Stage)“

There is genuine delight at the comic inventiveness of this show … this is a hilarious take on a much loved novel.”
