HOLY WEEK Is an emotional rollercoaster. It causes us to rejoice, lament, weep and rejoice again. But it’s a week we, as Christians, should never avoid. May I encourage you to ‘make time’ for God this Easter and journey through Holy Week, from the: Praise of Palm Sunday; Poignancy of Maundy Thursday; Sorrow of Good Friday and the Joy of Celebration on Easter Day.
PALM CROSSES We have a load of Palm Crosses which, as last year, I’m going to leave on the Rectory step (40 Laindon Road). Be sure to pick one up when you are passing by. Do take one for family members or neighbours who you know are self-isolating. Be sure to up a leaflet explaining what a Palm Cross symbolises and don’t forget to have one to hand for our Palm Sunday service and to put one on display in your window – before and after!
PALM SUNDAY We have a livestream service at 10.30 am with Stephen Greenfield as our speaker. A mix of praise and reflective songs and using the Palm Sunday litany, as we prepare for all the Holy Week will bring.
